Organoclay | Organophilic Clay CP-2 also named amine treated Bentonite.

In diesel oil based fluids,organophilic clay viscosifier CP-2 are used to increase carrying capacity and suspension properties, providing support for weight materials and improved cutting removal. Organophilic bentonite also aids in filter-cake formation and filtration control.

Organoclay | Organophilic Clay CP-2 is packed in 50lb(22.7kg) or 25kg/bag or customized,multi-wall paper sacks or Kraft paper bag with PE liner or customized.

Storage

CP-2 Store in a dry, well-ventilated area with temperature of 0℃-30℃.  Keep container closed. The quality guarantee period is 24 months.

Organoclay Composition of Organoclay bentonite is a kind of modified montmorillonite. It depends on the type of clay you choose and the process you use in the modification process, which will directly affect the quality of the organic bentonite you get.

So the most commonly used raw materials are montmorillonite or bentonite, which are all negatively charged flakes, forming a layered structure.This also makes them ideal materials for some industrial fields, typically modifying clay particles by mixing long chain alkyl amine cations and ammonia compounds with substances on the clay surface.

Our most commonly used organic molecules include ODA which can make the surface of organic clay hydrophobic and waterproof.

We can change the amount of organic molecules and our treatment process in the modification process according to your specific needs, such as thixotropy, enhancing rheological properties and enhancing our layered spacing which we can adjust.
Universality means that when you make your formula stand still, its consistency is the responsibility generated, and when you operate it, its consistency will decrease.

In terms of controlling rheological properties, we have mainly improved the control of fluid flow and viscosity, allowing organic clay to be used as a thickener and suspension agent.
