They are used in various industries such as paint coatings | paint glass beads , adhesives, sealants, artificial stones, plastic glass fibers, mainly as fillers and lightweight agents. They can also be used in low-density cement slurries for oil and natural gas extraction, as well as in low-density drilling fluids and glass bead blasting abrasive.
In low-density cementing, they are used as additives in oil well mud and low-density drilling fluids. Hollow Glass Sphere are also used in low-density glass fiber-reinforced plastics, SMC, BMC, and other composite materials. They are utilized in low-density adhesives and sealants, similar to the application of organic bentonite.
Hollow glass microspheres are also applied in artificial marble and in insulating paints and coatings. They are delicate non-metallic powder materials with micron-sized hollow spheres resembling bubbles or foam, commonly known as glass bubbles or hollow glass microspheres. They can substitute calcium carbonate, silica, and talc.
The ultra-low density of Hollow Glass Sphere enhances some composite materials while offering cost-effective benefits by reducing production costs and improving product performance.
Our hollow glass microspheres exhibit excellent chemical stability with good thermal and acoustic insulation properties, making them suitable for use in paint coatings and automotive sealants.
They have good dispersion and stable flowability. Their bright high-tech nature allows for the replacement or saving of other materials, thereby reducing costs. Their consistent size helps reduce warping and shrinkage.
These advantages highlight the strong cost-effectiveness and wide applicability of Hollow Glass Sphere.
Their appearance is white powdery with good flowability. The bulk density ranges from 0.08 to 0.43 g/cc. Thermal conductivity ranges from 0.038 to 0.085W/m.K. Maximum compressive strength is 207MPa/30000Psi.
We offer a complete range of hollow glass microspheres in various sizes for applications in conductive product markets, fine abrasives, polymer additives, including highway safety. Our products strictly follow ISO standards.
Hollow glass microspheres can be used in both organic and water-based systems. Their main feature is improving paint isolation, enhancing mold flow and size stability of plastics and composite materials, and reducing the density of paint binders and some composite materials.
Due to their fine particle size, they are destined to be used as lightweight insulating materials in coatings. Their chemical inertness and high-temperature resistance improve flowability while reducing product density and weight. They provide significant sound and heat insulation effects, do not absorb water under pressure, are non-flammable, enhance mechanical properties.
Currently widely used in paint, printing ink, sealant adhesives, hollow glass microspheres show great similarity to organic bentonite in application areas. They are used in chemical industries like air and wastewater purification, food industry, drinking water production, air filter manufacturing.
